Draft Strategy Greg Ambrosius Fantasy Sports Magazine Wednesday, August 13, 2003 Modified Wednesday, August 13, 2003 I find it interesting that some fantasy football owners are more nervous about the selection of the draft order than they are of the actual picks themselves. It's as if they feel they have no chance to win a league title if they don't get one of the top selections. To those people I provide just one bit of veteran wisdom: Chill out already. Take it from someone who has been in a half dozen expert league drafts already this year with another set for this weekend, it doesn't matter where you draft in the first round this year. You can win from any position in the draft and in some cases you're actually better off picking from the end than you are from the beginning. The key to winning a title is to form a strategy from any spot in the draft and then stick to your guns throughout.
