I really don't think we SHOULD draft Robinson. He reminds me of Robert Upshaw - enormous potential, total headcase.

I am all for trading CJ in a deal that improves the team's passing and defense, without hurting our overall shooting. One thing I'm sure of, Paul Allen isn't trading CJ unless he and Olshey (and probably Dame) think it will improve the team. If so, and if CJ lands in a good situation for him, I don't think Dame or CJ would be butt hurt over it in the least.

I really like Ed, but I have a hard time seeing a position for him on the team unless they decide to pass on Nurkic. I think that Olshey's end of season comments about wanting to see Zach play closer to the hoop means that they'll slot him into minutes at both C and PF. Meyers will probably still be around. Swanigan also needs PT.

Melton or Simons? I say Melton. Along with everything else, he led his High School to back-to-back state titles... in California. Makes me think of Marcus Smart/Avery Bradley.

You ever play college level defense? "Not yet needed to defend"?? What are you talking about?

Do they in HS? Do they in AAU? I was talking about the "young" players. (Comparing them to Musa) The "one and done" players who barely play 30 games in college. It is hard to judge their defense in one year of college. Yet we do it all the time.

Even the players who stick around a couple of years like John Collins. Some on this board wanted no part of him because he did look like he wanted to play any D......in college. IMO this is not a sound scouting strategy. Not with the 5 foul rule in college and the way the game is called and coached.

Mitchell was my dark horse pick. He also led the VSL in PER with 30.
