    Games are getting important again for the Ducks. If they win out they will be in the mix for the Pac 12 Championship.

    Ducks are beat up and after an emotional win against the Huskies, this game just feels like a Ducks lose. If they can win this on the road after the injuries and the emotion of last week, this may be a bigger win than beating UW.

    I actually think its kind of the opposite, yes they need good opponents to beat, but because of their schedule they are going to need some more style points / blow outs.

    I'm not really concerned with making the natty playoffs. I just want this team to learn to play hard and finish. This isn't one of those deals where go for broke this season because next season is going to suck. This is all about building for the future.

    The team is way ahead of where I thought they would be this season. The goal for the program is to become the Ohio State and Alabama of the Pac 12. That's going to be a long grind.

    Gotta build for the future always, but also this will probably be the Ducks last year with Herbert. So they’ll be breaking in a new QB next year, which if we remember last year that might not be so good...

    This is going to be a tough game for me. I'm a lifelong Duck fan... but my youngest daughter is now at WSU and because she is everything to me I have to have 2 favorites! Funny thing though, she called yesterday and quietly said "Dad I think WSU is gonna lose". Haha, she says that because of all of the years we watched the Ducks slaughter teams together! She said it's absolutely crazy there, Duck fans have been camping out everywhere for the game. I'm glad she gets to experience the craziness that the Gameday national media brings, unfortunately, her new team will lose and I will struggle to find a way to support both sides.

    Go Ducks...and Cougs!!

    Oh and Cowboys and Blazers. I feel a weekend of winning ahead. I love winning!

    I honestly picked us to lose this game in preseason predictions. I hope I am wrong but Leach is one of the greatest creative coaching minds that created the modern college game. He always seems to have our number. Anyway.... :tennis:
