WSU looks like they had a bye week last week because they did lol. They're obviously more fresh/prepared for this game. Oh well.
Talk about predictable play calling. First down - running play up the middle. Second down - try a long pass play. Third down and long - throw a desperation long pass. Surprising it’s not working.
This reminds me of my feelings on the pelican series, it sucks getting your butt kicked by a team that isnt that great. It really exposes a lot about you. It exposed a lot about the Blazers too.
I guess it wasn't much of a chance. I thought because they were bigger and faster and have gained some much needed toughness, and that their coaching had had some time to improve, that they could really do some good stuff. Last week I thought they ran too much; this week maybe it's the opposite. WA state seems to have a better idea what they are doing on offense and for the second week in the row Oregon not very creative. Also some really wimpy tackling by Oregon secondary; some of so bad it's like they want to throw the game, although I don't believe that is happening.
Ducks being badly outcoached. Not just on the "Xs" and "Os" either. Having the team ready to play on Sat is also part of the job.
All those highly touted recruits must be wondering WTF they were thinking to be interested in this shitshow.
