Before I type, I just want to pardon myself and more appropriately......you. You seriously brought me online with your comment but seriously...........I have an itchy finger and was WAITING on someone to do that because I don't like our coaching staff. Not you as a person but the boosters fault. This team doesn't have what it needs and it's not from a booster or and a athletic standpoint but it is a booster problem.
This place would blow up like that head exploding gif, if coaches used half the stuff suggested in here
For a team that has this much talent, we sure do have an underwhelming team. It's a coaching issue and not a one game issue IMO. Helfrich and Frost need to go IMO.
Chip Kelly never won a national title, and we didn't blow the other team out every game under him. Offense put up a lot of points with a make shift offensive line. The area of concern is the defense. It's looked pretty bad all year.
Weird, we only had 4 players catch balls tonight. Usually we spread the ball a lot more. It was pretty much the Allen and Lowe show tonight. A big positive was as bad as the offense played tonight we didn't turn the ball over.
Breathe my brother. You and I both know replacing a coaching staff mid season that is ranked #2 and undefeated, during the season would be probably the worst idea of all time. Give the o-line to hopefully heal up and this is a different team IMO
It's not opinion it's fact. Look how much better we were against Michigan State who actually has a legit D.
I disagree. Chip took over a team where he actually spent more time on recruiting defensive talent than offensive talent. Secondly, he made good/great players on offense due to his system and more importantly his training that was well beyond the norm in ANY part of football. Scott Frost is a terrible OC with the talent he has; he makes the game more complicated than what is necessary and Helfrich allows him to do such. People who said that Allitoti was bad isn't chirping in on the play calling by DP and that's not fair. It's pretty clear to me that Helfrich is playing "Not to Lose" versus letting the players "Pin There Ears Back" and go out and make plays. Frost is making this game harder than what it needs to be as well as DP and sorry but MH is the CEO of this team and the boosters put HF in place. Oregon is going to lose 3, if not 4 games this year if the play calling on both sides of the ball don't get better.
I truly am a basketball guy but as I grow older, football is easier to follow due to the lesser amount of games. Me, I think BB is a better game to play but FB is better for the fan but a lot of parallels can be made between the two sports while respecting the differences. With that said, I can still tell the difference between a talent loss and a coaching loss and Oregon is on the brink of a few of the coaching losses. :=(
Loved that play as well. BTW, that was Chip's first year as OC and it was on a big stage where in the BIG-HOUSE against Michigan where Oregon destroyed them and Michigan hasn't been the same since.
