Sorry to everyone here for spewing. I'm a big fan and this wasn't just one *hit game but it's now being a trend IMO. I would love to stand corrected and eat crow on this matter but Oregon just doesn't look like a very well coached team RIGHT NOW nor ever under MH. It appears to me that the longer HF is the HC, the more he tries to take down the brick wall that RB, MB, and CK built.

    GGGGGGGGGGGGRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!

How did you feel after we beat MSU pretty handily?

I just read a mock draft that has Armstead going in the 1st round. I don't see it just yet. I think he has the potential. Before he thinks about the draft he needs to worry about beasting on the college level.

Everyone was happy with the end result but I was concerned with a couple of things in that game as well.

    1) Mariota holding on to the ball too long. In this spread, it's predicated in the QB getting the ball out to the playmakers fast and in one-on-one situations FAST.

    2) DP waited until the 3rd quarter to bring any type of pressure.

    3) Frost calling plays that take too long to develop down the field and had no rhythm to the play calling.

    4) Oregon does not appear to be playing with any inspiration (Swag?).

It is what it is but I don't see this team going undefeated and in the playoffs. Not trying to be a debbie-downer but at some point this type of coaching and play has to catch up to a team.

He needs to come back for his senior year, he will always light up the combine with his numbers but he doesn't have very much "tape" of being dominant. I think he will be a Jamaal Anderson type player in the NFL.

HA HA. I see what you're doing there. It's not that bad but I do expect more from Helfrich considering he has more talent on this team than Brooks, Bellotti, and Chip ever had.
