I think Alie getting reps over him is telling enough, honestly Addison and Griffin should be given shots.
I was kind of pulling for Griffin this summer when Adams looked to be in doubt. I don't see what that would hurt either at this point. The dbs are a dumpster fire anyway.
Welcome back to reality. This is what being a football fan is normally like. The spectacular run the Ducks had for the last half decade is not normal and many UO fans now have unrealistic expectations. Some don't but some do; to expect conference titles every other year is unsustainable. Look at my Longhorns, we have a much bigger program and far better recruits; before today's crazy upset we were 1-4. I wonder if the civil war could actually be a game this year.
HEY!!! I pulled for your Longhorns so hard today! They've grown on me this season for some odd reason.
I know, that drives me crazy. The only time you should do that is when you're trying to kill a game when you're up like 30.
There were some encouraging signs from individual players tonight, at least. Mondeaux looks pretty damn good. Prevot continues to improve and made a few nice plays tonight. Johnny Mundt is actually doing a much better job of blocking. I know that was a problem with him and kept him off the field in the past. Charles Nelson was an animal, and in just his 1st appearance (yes?) as a cornerback looked better than the rest of our CB's combined. Overall, our pass-rush is looking better and better. Some discouraging signs other than the obvious QB issue: Ihenacho, Robinson and Springs looked terrible again. These were some pretty highly rated recruits if I remember correctly. I know the schemes Pellum runs don't help, but when it came down to man coverage they looked awful - almost disinterested, even. Nelson will be a significant improvement going forward, but what's up with Stewart and Amadi, are they injured or benched? They should be given a shot. Ihenacho and Robinson have a lot to work on and should take their places on the bench anyways....
http://espn.go.com/losangeles/colle...head-coach-steve-sarkisian-take-leave-absence I guess things could be worse.
some facts to ponder. Morgan was the 11th ranked QB in his class by rivals. Only one QB ahead of him in those rankings has started a game. Most of the great Duck QBs of the past never started a game until their Junior year. Were you aware that he missed most of last year to a shoulder injury? STOMP
