Watching both this game & 'bama/LSU. They just showed an LSU player leg whipping someone. That's the second one and neither was called. Of course, it was against UO.
I don't think I've ever seen something like that.... nobody was anywhere near him. He just lost the ball.
Thats as bad of a fumble as i'v ever seen. A real momentum changing play for the first half if we don't shut them down to a field goal.
not a big deal. thomas is getting the cob-webs out after time away. better now, early in the game with the lead then later...
their offense is respectable. their defense is awful. thomas is fine. he looks like he's trying to rush things and he's a little jumpy. he'll settle and the game will slow. all good.

Man, I didn't think anyone could catch him from behind, but after watching the replay I think the reason was because he wasn't going full speed through that clump of guys and he hadn't hit his stride when that Huskie caught him.
I thought he just slowed down a bit to do a walk in into the endzone not realizing how close the guy behind him was.
I think that was part of it, but it was also that the Huskie was already running full speed across the field as DAT was picking up speed.
