Taylor could hit it with any part of his body. That he was falling down does not preclude his momentum from carrying him forward to strike the ball. And if you're asking how Thomas could have had the ball dislodged and then batted it forward... I don't know what to tell you except to watch volleyball some time. Or soccer. They manage to move the ball all over the place without throwing it. They didn't? Well, shoot. If they didn't say it then it must not have happened. They also didn't mention bigfoot... where was he on the play? What they DID say was that it wasn't an incomplete pass.
