Props to the Ducks, and props to Kelly. I honestly thought Harbaugh would outcoach him. Glad I was wrong.
one thing espn.com is pointing out that I didnt think of... 49-10 run, and before that 2 Touchdowns were off of short fields after turnovers... so pretty good overall effort.
i hate the ducks....i mean i hate them more than any sports entity in existence. but i gotta hand it to the coaching staff and their second half adjustments. they obviously saw some things they could exploit on offense and figured out the stanford offense a little bit.
NO....NO I REALLY DON'T! Don't confuse respect with love...i still hate you guys and hope you lose every single game except the uw game, which i hope ends in the stadium imploding on itself and swallowing both teams and all their fans with it.
YES!!!!! So glad Locker came back after that awful awful Nebraska game. But, back on the topic, as someone who rooted for the Ducks since birth (and still does as a UW alum), it was good to see them get a W. Hopefully this leaps them over BSU in the rankings. I'm guessing it won't happen this week, but a couple more good wins over quality opponents ( U of A and USC) and the Ducks should be at least 3rd, even if no one in the top 5 loses.
Yes, they STAND around and watch the Ducks score. Another Duck fan, today on Facebook, called them the "Cardinals." -- Sweet Jesus. Duck Fans.
The 2nd half was a whole different story. You gotta give credit to Allioti. 28 points unanswered. I'm feeling more comfortable with Darron Thomas every game. Great poise.
well I guess people will stop running their mouths about the Ducks not going through adversity yet this year. Thats 3 games out of 4... yeesh.
Yes, we really needed that. Big time. I'm jacked up. Hey, both Oregon and UW are undefeated in league play!
The question is will they pass Boise State in the AP & Coaches polls with BSU picking on another winless small school 59-0? They were around 100-110 pts down in the polls prior to the ASU win, then closed the gap to 70-80. BSU now has nowhere to move up with most of the voters, but some voters may use this opportunity to move Oregon past TCU or BSU on their individual polls (since a lot hadn't leapfrogged both yet). And some may even see blowing out out top-10 Stanford by triple the point spread as reason to passing Ohio State (who looked weak against a 2-2 Illionois team). So I think we'll see Oregon narrow the gap down to about 20-30 pts this week and be poised to pass them in the upcoming weeks so long as they just keep winning.
For some who didn't see the game. This guy on YouTube does a great job, only hours after the game is finished, putting up highlights. (13 minutes!) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0H5vkXjk8tI Unfortunately I missed that game. Had to help some family move.
I am not a Football fan, but I caught this game at a kid's birthday party I attended (along with all the other dads that could not care much for playing kids games). I have to say that this was a very entertaining game for Football - and the Ducks seemed to be very good offensively.
