    Maybe, Bobcats, just maybe. [IMG]

BTW, Redux, I gave Dave Issacs permission to use it from last year. He liked it so much he wanted to use it in his online articles. So since he asked nicely, I said, "yeah", just as long as he gave me credit for it. So, it's all good.

BTW, just so everyone knows, I think Dunleavy is a good player and great teammate for the Warriors to have. This is despite making fun of him so much (in the past). He's just really cool.

Am a new poster. Have enjoyed reading the board for a while.

It was great to see Dun sac up even though it was just to blow the reporter off [IMG]. I'm not sure how his response could be logical to him.

As for MP's mental lapse, since it was a tie game and closing seconds, I would've thought Monty told the team not to foul. If you were coach, wouldn't you do that? Got to think there was some miscomm there.

Oh, it was all on MP, but it could be 75% - 25% MP and Monty's fault if Monty neglected to tell his team.

Hey welcome to the JBB Warriors forum. Yeah, it's inexplicable... MP was probably told not to foul, but he did anyway because he's not that bright and he's not very under control. It's like when Chris Webber called timeout in the NCAA championship after he was told by the coaching staff and team that there were no more timeouts left. He cost his team the championship with a turnover and a technical foul. Sometimes, athletes are just dumb. It's like they've got a short queue of things to process in their mind and it doesn't come out fast enough and it defaults to something dumb.

That or maybe Pietrus didn't want to play overtime that night because he was tired and it was his bedtime.

I doubt it was Monty's fault, though. He's usually telling everyone the situation in case they forget. Like "foul to give." or something. I just think Pietrus didn't know what to do at the moment and he forgot everything. He defaulted to something dumb.

Dunleavy's right. It definately was a stupid play but that wasn't what cost the Ws the game. Had he not fouled, Memphis would have had the ball with seven seconds (I think) in a tie game. Instead, they had the ball with 3 seconds left and a tie game. We lost because we couldn't make the stop. If Fisher hadn't made that layup THEN we could blame pietrus, but he did. So at least pietrus may have learned that he has to think about the situations before the play starts and basketball is more than just athletic ability.

    Thanks. Nice to be here.

Yeah, I only brought it up because it's been reported that Monty get emotionally involved in a game and zones out; He's made some gaffes this season.
