Kobe doesn't get lazy on D, I don't know where you get that. Sometimes he doesn't play his best D to conserve energy on offense, but when he wants to he can lockdown ANYONE his size. Michael Redd? Hehehe....http://youtube.com/watch?v=AIR6ObY1PKc</div>Eh, Wade blocked Amare.

Michael Redd went for 45 so Kobe isn't that good of a defender.</div>I could easily go into stats and say blah blah blah went for 40 against Kobe without watching the game. If it wasn't for the fact that I watched yesterday's game you could say Wade dropped 35/8 on Kobe, but I know that's not true as Kobe didn't guard Wade until 2nd half. He dominated Wade as he has done to many superstars. You don't get onto all defensive first team multiple times for no reason.ASUFan-Yes, he did, but check this out:http://youtube.com/watch?v=KoyPZDCzrXM

Kobe adjusted in the 2nd half and it worked wonders.</div>Yeah, most people don't realize that Kobe hasn't been fully healthy this entire season. He's STILL recovering from knee surgery somewhat (although it's hardly noticeable any more). The sprained ankle slowed him down for a week or two. And he's recovering from a groin injury right now. All these are lower body injuries that hurt a player's quickness. It has hurt him as a defender so far.
Man...I gotta go with Kobe on this one. Kobe's stronger, bigger, handle is crazy and can play D. Only thing is he gotta be the star and can't play with another big name.

To answer the video:-Kobe getting his a$$ stuffed as badly as Wade: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0zR3crlsTSo-Kobe got bit*hed in front of the league early on by the best at that time as well, on the same EXACT move, too: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iLVfougACiQ-Kobe wasn't a good jumpshooter early on as well. I can't find the video, but remember what happenned to him against Utah in '98 playoffs?Bottom line is nearly every knowledgable NBA fan knows Kobe is better, but he had the same struggles early on, too. Wade has greatly improved his jumper and defense, and in a few years will be even better. We don't need Lakers fans rubbing it in everyone's faces that he is better and Wade "sucks".
