Let's see if Howard's ankle really is 100%!

gotta love it that houston is the team having to make rash adjustments! hopefully stotts can exploit it and it doesnt just devolve into LMA being a decoy (unless that works?)

So if Dwight is guarding LMA, and Harden is going on Batum, will Pick and RoLo go for 40 tonight?

They should probably put Beverly on Rolo. Parsons will be guarding Stotts.

I'm pretty sure if we are exploiting it like we should, the strategy changes long before Rolo gets 40.

Like how McHale had Houston double LA after he blasted them in the first half on Sunday?

What are you saying Caravan? McHale is about as good at "in game adjustments" as the great Nate McMillan?

Well, he did sit Dwight during hack-a-dwight, so he's even better than Nate!

Screw all of this "hack-a-Dwight" talk. Time to up the ante. IIRC, Batum sometimes specializes in "hack-a-sack" play.

Right now everything is being billed as Aldridge V Howard, or Parsons v Batum, or Beverly v Lillard, but in truth right now the real battle is Stotts v Mchale, and my money is on Stotts.

He'll get his chance when they're forced to move Dwight off of him

Exactly. For the first time in 20 years, I feel like we're the better-coached team!

I think Stotts is the better chess player and better at keeping his team emotionally together. Both the Rockets and the Blazers have had a similar result in wins and losses over the season, but the Rockets are considered to have under-performed, While the Blazers are thought to have over-performed. That's a result of the mental makup of the team and the coaching staff.

    Stotts > Carlisle?

Agreed though, we came out and looked like a team who was better coached and better prepared because of it. Tonight is when stotts will get his chance to prove if he can do the most difficult part of coaching a playoff game, in game adjustments.
