I am bored of trying to re-interpret what the experts already did. I know who I believe for their finding and if you do not believe this research, we are at an impasse.
Every report I've seen has said nuclear has to be a part of the solution. None have shown how we can ramp up production of solar by a factor of 100. Even if we could ramp up to that level of production we still don't reach net zero for 50 years. I have yet to see any legitimate climate studies which show we have 50 years to spare. And you haven't shared anything which addresses that issue. If that issue can't be addressed, waiting 50-100 years for solar will cost us FAR more money (not to mention lives, pain, and suffering) than even the most pessimistic legitimate estimates for nuclear. I don't get bored of those kinds of discussions, but I appreciate your participation thus far.

A good explanation on the Economics of solar. Problem being that we can't count on wind as much as we can count on solar... And neither are as reliable as nuclear. Solar is great if it's done right, but then it's not nearly as competitive cost wise. And wind just isn't reliable. Both can help, but both together aren't close to enough without unforseen battery breakthroughs. All we need for small modular nuclear reactors is for the regulations to catch up with the technology. The US military has run small modular reactors for decades without a catastrophic problem. This is technology we already have. Not using it because we can make solar panels cheaper (using slave labor) is the wrong direction, IMO.
