How are we better? And im glad they cared for a night. Lets see some consistency... There has been NONE this season. 2 back to back wins in almost 7 weeks.
Why some people always go back to last year how we had hot 2nd half. We haven't shown any consistency this year. Last year was total different then this year. Just because we beat a good team doesn't mean we going on some wild winning streak. Some players are not playing as good as they did last year. We share the ball more last year and people actually hit shots. We had better hustle last year frome everyone I dont see that this year. So is this year different then last year yes. Can we get the 8th seed yes but if you think Clippers going fall on there face think again.
22-14 just to finish with a .500 record. That would be a 64% win percentage, equal to a 52 win season ... Again, that's just to hit .500. Anybody with delusions of grandeur about getting to a 7th or higher seed means playing a lot better, or some remarkable injury luck with other teams. Technically not impossible, but I wouldn't put money on it.
As the season progresses, a lot of teams get dinged up, rest their starters,or lose heart. It's a bit easier to win some games against those teams. But we have to play to win every game and not lose heart ourselves.
Right into some underage girls? Jesus Stren, Just because they are inconsistent doesn't mean they don't care. Stop equating the two. It's obvious they care. Not everyone throws tantrums when things don't go right you know. Doesn't mean they don't care....
Well, the team is playing horribly. They arent good. Ill rephrase it. Until they show consistency, them caring is irrelevant. So ill step down from that. They just arent good and have shown nothing to say theres any sustainability to this team. Or accountability. This is a very hard team to love. Ill still listen to every game, and hope they can actually play a complete game for more than 2 games a month... But I have my doubts.
Okay, fair enough. Its just I have taken in more in the last couple weeks from the Blazers games and interviews that more than suggest that they are doing everything they can think of as best they can. Caring is not the issue. Lack of effort is not the issue. Sometimes... you are just not good enough as is.
We went from 9th at 19-26 to 5th at 44-38 last year. Our schedule is so much better the rest of the way, Nik. Same as last year.
