Just look at the standings, the descrepency is ridiculous, especially considering that those eastern teams are mostly playing each other. The West has been deeper than the East as long as I can remember. Probably the last time it was balanced was back in the late 80s with the Pistons, Bulls, Celtics, Cavs, Hawks
doubt it seeing as boston's big 3 was the prime example of guys putting egos aside and doing what was best for the team.
