The Columbia Inferno will return to action in the 2011/2012 ECHL season after they found a new arena to play in. The team is currently independent from an NHL affiliate. Website The Hoffman Estate outside of Chicago, Illinois will be the host of a new ECHL team. The Sears Centre will play home to this team. The competition to name the team boils down to the Chicago Blizzard, Hoffman Estates Hammers, Chicago Knights and Chicago Express. The only name I don't like is the Chicago Express. Chicago Blizzard would be my first choice, then the Chicago Knights, followed by the Hoffman Estates Hammers, and finally the Chicago Express. Website Vote here!
