It is possible that they changed the deadline like Webster did with Minnesota. Could also be a ploy to get San Antonio to offer more money for LA. Could definitely see Olshey doing a solid for him.
I think Neil is collecting assets on reasonable contracts, maybe some time in the future he can use these assets when a great opportunity arises; I don't expect that to be this year.
Please, can we stop talking about even the smallest possibility that LMA is coming back? Just today we have the Hughes statement, Monroe going to Milwaukee and now signing of another power forward. It's over. Done.
Yeah there is no reason for acquiring Hibbert on expiring when we lose LMA. Keep acquiring youth players and hopefully a couple of them flourish.
Agree with that but I would take Hibbert for just Kaman though. Merely for the trade chip at deadline if nothing else.
Another good signing by Olshey. This is probably the way to go since we can't get any big name free agents. Sign the mid to low tier guys on reasonable contracts so that we can later use them in trades if the opportunity presents itself.
Well according to the video we all watched this morning..........Leonard is a Stretch 5 So maybe C-Plumlee/Leonard PF- Davis/ Vonleh
Leonard says he is a 4.5...in the middle. The Blazers could actually incorporate the Pick-n-Roll with Plums, Vonleh, Davis, Aminu....welcome to the 21st Century.
Some of you guys may hate this, but I see PA invoking the Seahawks model here...bring in young, hungry guys who will cut someone to get playing time, and may the best man get the minutes. Competition raises everyone's level. Forget "Red Team" and "White Team"...Call it "Varsity" and "JV" and see who doesn't want to go to Idaho.
Per draftexpress measurements--standing reaches and max reaches Vonleh - 9'0", 12'1" Plumlee - 9'0", 12'0" Davis - 9'0", 12'0" Leonard - 9'0", 11'8" Basically--they're interchangeable.
Dale Davis. I didn't make that comparison because of their last name but their skillsets are eerily similar.
