For the Spurs, I am going to give Jacque Vaughn. He is a pesky defender and he always give you a great deal of hustle. I would list Bruce Bowen, but everybody knows he is a great defender who puts out alot of hustle each night. When Vaughn goes in the game he gives 110 percent each time, and really pushes the tempo. Even though I dont view him as that good, he tries very hard.
No brainer for the Cavaliers. AV. AV is, I think, leading the league in charges drawn. He is a big time hustler. He is one of only a hand full of big men that run all over the court in just a hope that they can do something to help the team. AV doesn't score much, doesn't block much, doesn't get assists much, gets a fair share of rebounds, but that is about it. For some reason though, when he is out on the court, the hustle play of the whole team goes up a notch. The crowd loves him, so they get into it whenever he tries to make something happen. AV is the clear cut winner for the Cavalier's effort player.
Brian Scalabrine. The guy sucks so much at basketball but the effort he has been putting out this year is unbelievable and hasn't even been playing all that pathetically. He gets the dirty rebounds, sneaks in, dives, takes charges, all the stuff everyone in the NBA should but doesn't do.
Hell, the Celtics have alot of effort players. Scabs, Gomes, and Rondo. Gomes gets alot of loose balls, offensive rebounds, and bodies up against bigger players decently well. Rondo always pressures the inbounds pass, plays tight man to man defense, and is a good rebounder for his size, and yankshater covered Scabs pretty well...
The Pistons Effort Player is Lindsey Hunter. He is a top notch lockdown defender, and he can shoot clutch baskets when the team needs it.
The Magic have a few all hustle players, but I would say the biggest hustle player for us this year is Trevor Ariza. He is always trying hard, running, setting picks, playing tough defense. He does it all for the Magic, and plays with pure hustle most every night.
Ronny turiaf. Every minute he is on the floor, he hustles. If he wasn't a foul machine, I'd start him. He is the perfect 4 in the triangle.
