    I don't think they ever called Poku the best passer in the draft from what I remember.

    Portland definitely needs to add shooting to it's rotation and Egor will probably not address this need immediately. The question for the staff is whether he has it in him to become a good shooter because if he can then he'd be something. If he is still filling out as reported and adding to athleticism, that would also be something very positive. To my eye his college tape looked like he had a ways to go to physically to match up in the pros so I don't expect much from him his rookie year. Lots of ifs, we'll see if Portland is a believer in what he could become.

    Size is an advantage but how important is it compared to skill and athleticism? The 3 point line rules the league and has run a lot of pure size out of the league.

    I'd take a real good look at this kid..he's got a lot of game. Given his size for a pt guard and his passing and footwork he could be a steal. His shot has good mechanics but needs to improve his 3 pt shooting.

    Improving one's three point shooting is one of the easiest skills to improve. I'm not worried about his prospects to improve his shot.
