Elton Brand vs. Dirk Nowitzki

    Dirk is better at what he does than Brand in what he does. Post players clog the middle on offense and that limits an offense. Unless Brand demands double teams he is hurting the team staying in the lane rather than helping. All the best offensive teams scoring wise has a big man that can hit from the perimeter. Kaman does that a little bit, Duncan does that, Marion does it, and most teams that want to have a spaced out floor would do it. Otherwise it is too easy for 1 player to guard 2 players.

    Yeah, and plus, Dirk is 4/5's of the post-up player that Tim Duncan is.

    Dirk posting up actually hurts the spacing. Unless they have no answer for him that is not the best place for him to be. Did you notice that last game that Pau was not in the vicinity on help defense? That is because Dirk took him out on the perimeter and the only player that could help on defense was the Grizzlies center.

    Can you even compare Dirk and Elton they both have completely different games.

    Yeah, well Dirk is probably a one-of-a-kind, so who else are we going to compare him TO!?
