"Bench Kanter or our season is lost, he doesnt know how to defend, play Meyers more" LMAO. @jlprk, say it for me.
He didn't. Go read some of the threads this guy has started. You might laugh, but you also might cry.... ....of laughter.
Also the idea that playing Meyers is gonna improve the defense, Seems how do I put this politely... wrong?
Sadly when Turner comes back I believe the second unit will look like. Curry/Hood/Layman/Turner/Kanter That's a pretty steep downgrade defensively from Aminu at the 4. I'll be honest, I think Nards is a better defender than Kanter.
Nope. I just believe the plan is to trade baskets and pound the glass when they put Kanter out there. It's going to be ugly on defense for that unit for the rest of the year. I wouldn't be sad by that, but I have 17million reasons why he won't.
Yeah I agree, Im kind of ok with that, most of the time you just want your Bench to not lose a lead or to have the ability to give you an offensive spark when the offense sputters. Their bench doesnt have a lot of defense but I think its a very solid bench because they should be able to get buckets.
Erdogan's computer lackeys are taking over our forum! Sly. I thought you were here to handle this shit!
Olshey will say "Evan, if you believed in yourself half as much as I believe in you, you would be an all-star"...he'll then re-sign him for 4 more years so then...5 more years to endure...unless Olshey is still in charge in 2025. Then it might be 9 more years; and Meyers would still be a Blazer too. They might go directly from Blazer medical coverage to Medicare
smh. Bones is trying to make himself my enemy, but he doesn't rate. H.C. is a more respectable, worthy foe.
I went to NBA to get the boxscore and I looked at the assists and the O rebounds man has both of those stats went up or what? Damian aint chucking up as many shots because he has another person to shoot the ball well. Sixers have a lot of talent out there so it was not a scrub team we beat. It is good to see the team is going through our bigs (about farking time). Looking at the plus minus, Meyers maybe a better defender but that is like saying Nestles Quick has less calories then Lindts Truffles. Meyers on the floor is not going to make a difference, Kanter on the floor will, and may even draw a double team from time to time. The fact of the matter is we are playing good ball right now, whether Kanter has anything to do with it or not I don't know but I also don't care, we are winning and he seems to be the spark. Green font your post and don't bring bad juju to this team.
I wouldn't even call Meyers Leonard garbage anymore. (He has risen to being old knickknacks to take to the thrift shop to clean out the house.) Kanter's way better than Leonard on both defense and offense, so despite some deficiencies, he's not garbage (or knickknacks).
Is this a geo-political related post? Are Turkey and Israel at odds? I'm not sure that Meyers and Zach not playing means the season is lost. That's not to say that Enes doesn't need to improve his defense, he does. But a +- stat in a blow-out win is misleading. Besides the fact it's his second game with the team, they didn't lose the lead when he played (at least in the 2nd half). One of the things that Meyers and Zach do not bring, is confidence around the hoop. In 2 games, Enes has is averaging 17 points, 8.5 boards and 2 assists. Also not saying that Zach and Meyers were both playing well this year. Is there a chance that Enes will have a bad game soon? Sure. I doubt he's going to keep up averaging 17 points and 8 boards shooting 14-23 from the floor in 20.5 minutes a night. The difference is also that Enes can create for himself, plays within the game and within himself, and doesn't have to rely on others for creating offense for him. Zach could eventually get there, but he's not ready this year.
If Chief and Mo continue to bring it like they did today we're a damned dangerous team ...our new look bench mob just lacks some chemistry but it'll come...finally our team is starting to have an identity ….love the bench mob now.
