Seriously, I can't believe you guys are actually saying Bowen is not dirty. I've said it before and I'll say it again; watch someone stick thier foot under Bowen and let's see if he is infuriated or not. Maybe Carlos Boozer should knee Duncan in the groin? Or would that be "clearing some room with his leg" as well? This is laughable
^ I can't believe that some people are going to put an asterisk in their record books if the Spurs win it all. That means you'll be putting an asterisk next to a champion that earned their title because a team played without 2 starters in a series which they lost in 6 games two rounds before the NBA title is even decided. To me, that borders on ridiculous. I've said that I agree the suspensions were awful, but to go all Barry Bonds on the record book over the set of circumstances I just described is simply over the top.
The Spurs* won by 3 in Game 5, Amare scored 38 in Game 6... let's say he would've scored only half of that in Game 5, Phoenix wouldn't won by 16. Granted it's tough to say that for sure, but I don't think many people would disagree Phoenix ran out of gas from being thin and Amare would've helped, considering he's the top scorer on the Suns. So now the Suns would've been up 3-2 with momentum going back to San Antonio, even if the Spurs* won Game 6, Phoenix still had Game 7 at home, where they had the 2nd best home record in the NBA. I don't think anybody is saying they know for sure Phoenix would have won, but there was that chance, a chance the NBA front office took away. Yes it's the 2nd round, but had the NBA not enforced an unfair ruling to only the Suns, the Spurs* may not have made it to the 3rd round, thus the whole Playoffs are now changed because of some stuffed suits. Maybe the Spurs* would've won anyway but because it went 7 games they were tired and Utah took the first game, or what if Parker ran into Amare in Game 5, injuring himself, even if the Spurs* beat Phoenix maybe his absence would've allowed Utah to beat them and become Champions... the what-ifs are infinite and we'll never know what would have happened, all because some old guys in New York decided standing up was unacceptable, but only for one team.

The 2007 NBA championship is now tainted. The front NBA office has taken the best series of the playoffs and tilted it in favour of San Antonio. It's not as if San Antonio needed anymore help to play against the Suns, but because you have removed two of the best players for Phoenix in a critical home game for them, based on a ridiculous call, you just handed Spur their fourth championship. Nice Going NBA front office. I hope Utah beats San Antonio in Six. You guys are truly a class act. F**kin bs.
