    "Some of Hillary Clinton's closest aides, including her longtime adviser Huma Abedin, have been interviewed by federal investigators as the FBI probe into the security of Clinton’s private email server nears completion, U.S. officials briefed on the investigation tell CNN.

    The investigation is ongoing, but so far investigators haven't found evidence to prove Clinton willfully violated the law, the standard needed to bring charges, the U.S. officials say."

    Judge OKs deposition plan in Hillary Clinton email case

    A federal judge has approved a plan to take sworn testimony from former aides to Hillary Clinton about her use of a private email server during her tenure as secretary of state.

    U.S. District Court Judge Emmet Sullivan issued an order Wednesday approving the discovery plan, which was agreed to by the State Department and Judicial Watch, a conservative group that demanded Clinton's emails under the Freedom of Information Act.

    "The circumstances surrounding approval of Mrs. Clinton’s use of clintonemail.com for official government business, as well as the manner in which it was operated, are issues that need to be explored in discovery to enable the Court to resolve, as a matter of law, the adequacy of the State Department’s search of relevant records in response to Judicial Watch’s FOIA request," Sullivan wrote in his 15-page order.

    The eight-week period to complete the depositions will conclude in late June.

    As for where the investigation stands, these officials say it is a long way from over.

    FBI Director James Comey himself said recently that there's no deadline for finishing it. Asked if the Democratic National Convention would be such a deadline, he said no.

    No conclusions have been reached about whether any laws were violated in setting up or using the system, the officials say.

    How can the head of the entire state department not know what information is classified or not? Do you find it weak sauce lame excuse that she claims she didn't know?

    If so, that speaks to her incompetence as Secretary of State.

    Bill was guilty, paid $950K in fines and restitution and was disbarred. Must have been somewhat serious.

    'Crooked Hillary'

    Trump’s branding of his rivals has been lethal so far.

    His attacks against Jeb Bush for being “low energy” haunted the former Florida governor. Trump also counts “Little Marco” Rubio as a vanquished foe, and he has delighted in explaining to supporters that there is no “g” in “Lyin’ Ted” Cruz.

    Petraeus was fined and sentenced to probation for sharing classified information with his biographer, Paula Broadwell, with whom he was also having an extramarital affair.

    Trump has repeatedly argued that the investigation into whether Clinton’s home brew server exposed classified information is far worse than anything Petraeus was guilty of.

    I am confident she has a working knowledge of classification. However, whether a particular bit of information is classified can be a judgement call, so it's possible to not know what someone else might decide. Especially what they might decide years in the future.

    But, I wouldn't want to be accused of spinning, so:

    I'm sure you are right. She's the devil incarnate and every word she's ever said is a soul-stealing lie. Her aim is to destroy the country and feast upon its flesh.     She was the secretary of state. Her judgement trumps all. So to speak.

    Judgment call. Judging by the 2000+ classified emails they found, she has poor judgment.
