Wow...Reina appears to have caught the English Goalkeeper Virus.

We tend to score a lot of late goals, huh?

I think we played about as well as expected missing our two best players and our best defensive midfielder. Trouble creating scoring chances, typical defensive bumbles, and not a lot of impetus until the last. And I agree, a goalkeeping error costing a team the win--and it wasn't Arsenal!

We dominated the first-half, no? Goes to show how poor Liverpool are now. They would usually bully us at Anfield.

What is the purpose of walcott and Almunia, seriously mr wenger, they are ordinary players at best. they have a solid game once every blue moon.

Walcott is a very important player. Great sub. Not being sarcastic either. The game changed when Rosicky and Walcott came on.

One is 21 and the other is 34... I wouldnt lump those 2 together just yet. Hopefully being kept off the WC squad will light a fire under Walcott.

I agree he is a sub player, certainly because he does not deserve a starting place, just a speed merchant with no end product.

Yeah Reina stuffed up, but he'd already kept 'Pool in the game with a few great saves; so the good, and the bad balance out I reckon.

Almunia captain for the day, and really should have had a clean sheet, but didn't cover his near post. So the Almunia stuff up, and the Reina stuff up cancel each other out? Looked shocking on crosses, as usual. "Should I stay or should I go?" Almunia didn't know, and neither did his defenders. Arsenal won't win anything this season unless we upgrade our keeper.

Diaby isn't a defensive midfielders left nut. Pushed too far forward, far to often. Didn't provide anything going forward, and didn't break up counter-attacks. Perhaps Wenger should have player Frimpong, as the rumour suggested.

Wilshere looked comfortable out there, and was solid without being spectacular.

Chamakh looked good, and provided Arsenal with more of a physical presence up front than we've had recently.

Arsenal had more possession, more shots on target, more shots off target, more corners, and were a man up for half the match. Really should have won.

Clichy should take to Arshavin's knee with a 2x4.

Arshavin continues to refuse to chase back properly, and constantly leaves Clichy exposed to 2 on 1's.

Not to mention he drifts in from the left far too much. Players regularly looked to pass to the left wing, but found no-one there, and Arshavin clogging up the centre.

I'd really like to sell Arshavin for a profit.

I agree arshavin has been pretty lazy since last season, looks frustrated most of the time. He looks lost out there, I think his heart is in Barcelona. But we ain't getting anything near 8M for arshavin at this stage with his poor performances and age. No profit whatsoever, but I'd take the 8M in a heartbeat if given.
