The San Francisco Giants raised their World Series championship banner before their home opener at AT&T Park, then almost 4½ hours later won when substitute left fielder Aaron Rowand drilled a bases-loaded, two-out single off the left-center field wall. In between, the Cardinals wrote another frustrating page within a rough early-season script. "There was a lot in that game. It had its high moments and its low moments," manager Tony La Russa said.
