<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Henacy:</div><div class="quote_post"> ESPN & SPORTSCENTER is all about entertainment/personality to go along with us getting our scores & Highlights. If we just wanted guys to read us scores from q-cards then we just check for the sports segment on our local news channnels.</div> It's okay to have some personality to do sportscasts, but I don't want to hear guys acting cute and wiseasses like I see with Stuart Scott, Steve Berthaiume, and Linda Cohn. Fred Hickman is a guy that I can listen to. He has personality and he is very opinionated as he does the sports segment. I could listen to guys like that. When I watch sports highlights, I like to hear an opinion and a good description of the play.
Second guy was cut tonight on Dream Job. It was Darryl Dawkins. That's too bad. I thought he was alright, but the voters did not seem to agree so he got cut. The voters vote was the deciding vote since each contestant got 1 vote each by the judges. My take on the contestants: Matt Bullard -- He stunk out there especially in the very beginning of the show where he did not give any analysis about the Cavs chances of making the playoffs. He made up for it in the very end which is why he survived. He was the guy I voted off. He showed me nothing and quite frankly, I thought he did worse than last week. He praised Baron Davis because Baron was his friend. Who cares about that? Then he talked about how Baron's infectious smile inspired his teammates in Charlotte and how it would make a diffence in Golden St. That statement made no sense. Sure anyone can smile, but it does not mean a team would do better. Warriors will do well if Baron can score and make others better not by smiling and all. Darryl Dawkins -- He was okay, but not as good as last week. I thought he was good enough at least till next week. I am not sure why he was voted off. He was not as bad as Bullard. Dee Brown -- Solid though he talked a little too fast when he analyze a game with Dana Jacobson. Dennis Scott -- He was alright. He added stats and substance. J.R. Reid -- He was very good. He had some anecdotes as he analyze and he was entertaining. Several other things: -- Dana Jacobsen is hot. Good to see that she does SportsCenter at 6. I always liked her on ESPNews. -- It seemed those contestants was talking way too fast. They need to speak with some clarity and slow down when they are speaking. -- I wish Kit Hoover and Woody Paige would be criticial and positive. Kit is so positive. She never critiques people. She is the antithesis of Stephen A. Smith. -- I did not like the first portion of the show. Guys were talking out of turn and I had no clue what they were talking about. -- Chris Webber can sleep easily that Darryl Dawkins was cut. Dawkins took shots at Chris again when he was doing the Double Dribble segment. -- I am hoping J.R. Reid wins the Dream Job contest. He is probably the best of all contestants.

I did not watch last week and I could not see the repeats all of last week. I see J.R. Reid was out. That's too bad because he was pretty good. I rather see a bad performance from J.R. than watch Matt Bullard even on his great day. Dee Brown should win the contest next week as the final round starts next week. Dee is very good. He is articulated. He is polished. He knows what he is talking about. He gives substances. He gives names and facts. He is interesting to listen. He deserves it. He has been the best of all contestants. I am shocked Dennis Scott was cut. He has been good. I am amazed Matt Bullard is in the Final Round. I really am. He should have been the first guy cut. He stinks. He says stupid things. He adds nothing to his analysis. He is dull. Stephen A. Smith has been dissing Bullard throughout the entire show this month. For some reason, he is in the championship round. He is so bad. I will be damned if Bullard wins the contest next week. It would be an upset. Dee Brown has to really screw up to lose next week. Dee is so much better than Matt.
I watched the episode last night. I think the decision was terrible. Dennis Scott was by no means good, but Matt Bullard absolutely sucked. All he did was repeat things that Dee Brown and Scott had said and make them sound fancy. When he was fumbled he would try to act cute and make people laugh. I was disgusted that he advanced. I think Dee Brown will win it easily. He seems to have the most knowledge, and he is way easier to listen to than Bullard. He is just a lot smooter when he is talking. More comfortable and poised. If Bullard wins I will protest.

JWohl: I agree with you about how the posters here can provide better analysis. From reading this board for the last four months, I am impressed with the knowledge of the game from the posters here. I have to agree the show has not been that great at all and it's disgusting that Bullard is in the Final Round.
