The last time Mike D'Antoni led a team to 45 wins was 9 years ago when he had Steve Nash as his PG. In fact the only place D'Antoni has a winning record as an NBA head coach is PHO. He had a losing record with DEN, NYK and LAL. Still his teams, with their shock and awe offense, tend to overachieve during the regular season when teams don't have time to game plan for their unique style of play. Then, they underachieve in the playoffs when teams slow things down and expose their poor defense. HOU's defense will be so bad this year, even with their explosive, gimmicky offense, I doubt if they win 45 games. But even if they do, it won't matter, they'll still lose in the 1st round. BNM
