ESPN is doing their player rankings, and showing just how bad ESPN is.

They can make any list they want but I just really want Rolo, Wes and Nico to be on first team all defensive squad when all is said and done.I want Kaman to get 6th man of the year and CJ to get most improved player. Like to see Will Barton in the dunk contest and Dame and LA own the allstar game. Stotts to get coach of the year and then win the championship. It's a pretty short list

Don't count on getting any of those this year. I could see Dame owning the AllStar game, but LA never will.

Dare to dream! This is MY far fetched wish list Fonz, I've been through the trenches with this team for decades and I'm all in. After reading the ESPN list, I figure I can stretch out too. (this is where Sly inserts a trade Aldridge post)

I applaud your optimism sir, and do hope you are right. I think a championship is more likely than any of those. That is my one true wish.

I know, the big W is the prize and knowing the allstar fiasco, Steve Nash and Paul George probably make 1st team with Jeremy Lin off the bench. I'm just trying to be a bit ESPNish and exaggerate the positive. I always got the impression LA didn't really enjoy those games much.

Man, it's gonna be weird when LeBron retires. He is like the only player I can think of that lived up to the hype he had since he was barely in high school.

He is the only player I would argue is better than Michael Jordan.

So if ESPN is right, most contenders will rest their starters against us all season?

The fact that the Spurs' top players are Parker at 15 and Duncan at 21 tells you just how important this list is in determining a champion. Seeing Westbrook in the top 5 makes me throw up a little in my mouth. Apparently, this is the all-NBA highlight list, not the list of the best players in the game. Fortunately, basketball is still a team game.
