I completely agree. It's just ridiculous to watch how the NBA is treating such a top notch player, Kobe Bryant, like absolute trash. It's like their watching his every move, just waiting for an opportunity to pounce on him. Marko Jaric said himself it wasn't intentional, whether it's true or not, you've got to take his word. Same thing with Manu Ginobli. Yet Kobe still gets suspended. Meanwhile, you see guys like Lebron James clothelining Dwayne Wade and getting away with it like nothing happened. I have nothing against the suspension (actually I do), but if you're going to make BS suspensions like these, at least make it consistent instead of pinpointing one single player (Kobe Bryant). It's really a shame

You think maybe Kobe's elbow on Mike Miller last season and that whole thing with Phoenix has drawn the League's attention on himself? I don't agree with this suspension (didn't with the last one either), but I hate conspiracy theories. They're always cop-out explanations. I do think that Kobe needs to stop flailing his arms like that. If its proven to be dangerous for players around him, then the fact that it's his "natural shooting motion" isn't a good enough excuse. A suspension doesn't seem to be the right way to get that message across, though. Especially when Bruce Bowen's still getting away with undercutting players.

I really despise Stu Jackson. The way he handles things is a bunch of bullshit. I'm amazed he lets Kobe breath on people. Kobe can accidentally hit someone in the head...yet if Shaq destroys Marvin Williams and LeBron nearly decapitates Wade, they get nothing. I love how they want to stay "consistent" but don't do jack when people actually deserve it.
lol, I can understand your frustration with this suspension, but do you actually think that Lebron's foul on Wade was suspension-worthy? I've seen a lot of people bring it up and, while I think it may have been a flagrant, I wouldn't go much farther than that. Describing it as a "decapitation" was a bit over the top.
Ok, what about Shaq's foul on Marvin Williams the other night? That wasn't what I'd call a pleasant and Shaq got a flagrant for it too, yet he gets nothing.

I cannot find the video, but Brian Cook did the exact same motion the very next night against the Knicks, when Kobe was suspended the first time. He wasn't suspended. I don't see how Kobe's motion is any different than an offensive player pushing off. It should be categorized as an offensive foul and possibly a flagrant foul, but suspending him is ridiculous. Last night on ESPN radio some Milwaukee fans were irrate about the suspension. A group of girls had saved up all season in anticipation for this game and were disappointed they wouldn't get to see Kobe compete against their team. There absolutely no energy in last night's game, and plenty of empty seats. Michael Redd didn't bother to show up, and watching a 20 point blow out probably didn't sit very well with the people in attendance. Paying top dollar to watch ugly basketball, especially in a sports haven town like Milwaukee is not beneficial to the league. What's going to go unnoticed is the career night Charlie Bell had in the 2nd half of last night's game, because the media is only going to cover the Kobe suspension. The entire game the broadcasters were focused on the suspension and not the calling the game.

He's a FA and I'm sure he'd be lured for being able to play for Phil and being alongside Kobe. He can play PG, SG, or SF. He's a good shooter and will do whatever it takes to win (score, rebound, pass). Plus, he should be relatively cheap.
