The Yankees sent an E-Mail to every Club today granting permission to Contact any of their Coaches for any Job as per Ken Rosenthal.....looks like they are cleaning house.
...actually, I hope Rosenthal is right...if so, it means the Yanx are looking at an established and proven skipper...Showalter?
Just got back from the store with the squeeze, checked ESPN, now Jerry Haiston jr. is considered a candidate. Yep that is a Rosenthal Tweet or twoot or twit whatever you want to call it. Per the article Hairston is right in line with Hinch, Cora, and others who are "hip" to the new game. Also saw an article on Texeria saying that Girardi was too intense and not communicate. Backstabbing fuck, Girardi supported that dandruff covered ass hole every day he didn't show up for work which were many. The Astros make the World Series and all of a sudden AJ Hinch is the new Casey Stengel, bah fucking humbug.
Texeira proves with this ‘Girardi quip’ that he is a loser. Here’s a player who never appreciated the skipper who gave him more chances to redeem himself........but most times he would be full of excuses for his ineptness. Dumb ass!
...I'm aware that Showalter still has another year on his contract, that has been discussed earlier in this thread. But I don't know why Cashman would not want him back...I mean it's not like they have a "history" or anything. Cashman had nothing to do with Buck's firing in 1995. ...realistically, I don't see Buck being our next coach but he's certainly more than qualified to do the job.
...I still think they made a mistake by not retaining Girardi...and I believe Cashman threw him under the bus to the Steins to divert responsibility/accountability away from himself.
^^^You know, considering that this year was supposed to be somewhat of a "rebuilding" year I think Joe actually did his best job of managing to date. ...9 innings away from being in the WS.
Cashman dished out some real dirt bag teams and personnel Giraardis way. Classics like Overbay, Wells, Hafner, and Roberts to top the list. Elsbury, was no gem, nor McCann as a hitter, Beltran as a fielder. Factor in Prima Donnas and whiners like Texeria, A-hole and Cano and its a God Damn miracle that Girardi managed 84 win seasons at the least. And the Brass wants to say Girardi was not communicative with his players, I say bullshit.
