Well he'd be a salary dump for CHI.

Keep Batum - pay the man!

(That's my way of saying I'm not a fan of the list.)

Korver is a hell of a shooter--we all know that. At $5m/year, he's not a bad value, either. He would have been a great fit with Oden/Roy/Aldridge/Nate...

Why would we want him now, though? Would we really want to have a 31 year-old one trick pony as our starting small forward?

I don't know why we would bother. The two first rounders would have more potential value, I'd think.

    I guess we'll see...

Hopefully it's Iggy. He'd be a good add and the first rounders would just be gravy.

If it's for Korver..... It should be Canales as coach. Cuz we're tanking next season. Save that cash.

The player has to be either very good or very cheap, otherwise why would Olshey agree to it?

The Memphis pick is lottery protected, per my link, so it sucks. Korver is long-since done and buried. I'd want a better SF.

I don't think I've seen anyone reputable mention Iggy as the other SF, I would think that deal happens if it's proposed to Olshey.

If the deal is for Korver, it makes more sense to force Batum's agent to choose between us matching or the QO.

Iggy has one year left plus a PLAYER option the following year. Thus the reason for the 2 picks I guess.
Not thrilled but not bad if true.

Is Nic the first guy in recent history, where the player wants to leave PDX on his own?

Gerald wanted to stay here, same with Dre/Camby/Trout/LA/BRoy/etc.

Pretty much the only comparable guy I'd swap Batum for.

Love me some Iggy, but due to age and style would have to decline.

Europeans like Sergio did not flourish in McMillan's slowpoke system and returned to Europe.
