Some of these rankings seem very obvious, but I'm not sure how much I can respect them when somebody like Dion Waiters is ranked higher than ANYBODY!
These are also projections, not actual stats. For example, he thinks a coaching change is going to send Josh Smith's WARP skyrocketing from 1.6 to 9.8. Maybe the coaching change also comes with a brain transplant for J-Smoove. BNM
Don't know who this Doolittle cat is, but even the guy who invented WARP, Kevin Pelton, can't use it to accurately predict the future. Here's Pelton's take on our 2012 draft based on projected WARP: "4. Portland Trail Blazers (3.0 expected, 4.2 actual, +1.1) The Blazers came out about even on their pair of lottery picks. Once his performance at Weber State is translated for strength of schedule and age, Lillard is slightly on the weak side for a No. 6 pick, while Meyers Leonard scored well at No. 11. Portland added a third intriguing prospect at the 40th selection with Memphis wing Will Barton, a capable scorer and fine rebounder who could easily have gone in the first round." Yeah, so much for the accuracy of projected WARP. BNM
