You're exaggerating. We have a different definition of "very good" and "average." There are 30 teams in the NBA and we're one of the 7 teams remaining and we are only two wins away from the WCF. That's not "average." Average is the Detroit Pistons and the Sacramento Kings. The Nuggets were great all year long. We have as good a chance of winning the championship as any of the 7 teams left in my opinion. Let's see if the Warriors win tonight even. As kjironman said, this really isn't the right time for posts like this. We are in the MIDDLE of a WCSF series right now. Many analysts have us winning the series in 7 games.
Dynastic. I'd also go with excellent. Blazers this year are certainly above average, and dark horse contenders. If they aren't able to keep any of the mid-season pieces added this year, they'll probably slide to average.
Fair, there is a lot of room between average and the heavy favorites; That said, this years team was 2nd tier after Golden State and the Bucks. I look at this team when healthy, and I see a group that is as good or better than the Rockets and Thunder. Certainly in the top 10 (and maybe top 5) in the league. That's well ahead of above average to me.
We owe him $18.6m for one more season after this one. So there's light at the end of the tunnel. I just wish the tunnel were shorter. And didn't smell like ass.
To be honest I thought everybody knew Golden State is a historically good team. Yes they are legendary.
They’ve won 3 of last 4 titles. They’ve been excellent during that time. If our roster is a “steaming pile of shit,” how would you describe Charlotte’s roster?
Dane Delgado pretty much summed it up. With writeups like this it ain't gonna be easy to get rid of Turner. We all might be stuck with watching him come the beginning of the season. https://www.yahoo.com/sports/judge-evan-turners-third-season-212221274.html
In a market flooded with expiring deals, Turner is untradable. His signing was one of Olshey's most baffling moments. At least he won't offer Turner an extension...right?
Turner and Layman need each other. I feel like they played best when the other was in the floor. Not sure if it was the addition of Kanter that changed things, as he was clogging the court a bit more, but something happened around that time that made both Turner and Layman less effective.
agree 100%. Turner is a pass first player and Layman moves without the ball as good as anyone on the team. He has a knack for getting backdoors and oops.
Remind me again what it means when the thread is labeled "Bogus". I have never noticed that before. Since I see your stats are off (i.e he scored 43 total points not 7 )
