Meh. This sticks out to me:

"So, why is Herald Green a better fit for the Celtics than Evan Turner?"

Evan is a better fit for our team than the Celtics. With Stotts as a coach and teams sagging off of him a la Aminu, Turner will have a record year from 3. You heard it here 1st.

Yeah. This guy can fuck off. I can't read a piece and take it seriously when his first line looks like this, and I didn't change anything,
"Gerald Green Could Just Be the Soultion to the Celtics Biggest Probelm".

Come on now, he's just a student at Connecticut college. He's still learning how to type and spell check.

Lol, if Gerald Green is the answer to your biggest problem, you have a new, even bigger problem.

That article is pure wishful thinking by a Celtics fan that is butt hurt over losing Turner. Gerald Green has shot above league average from 3-point range twice in the last 6 seasons he's played - which is actually twice in the last 8 years, as two of those years he didn't even play in the NBA.

I also like the way he criticizes Turner for being turnover prone (averaged almost 2 TOVs per game and minimizes his assists (only averaged 4.5 APG coming off the bench). While failing to mention that the last time Green played as many minutes as Turner he averaged 1.8 TOV and a whopping 1.5 APG. For his career, Green has far more TOVs (610) than AST (498), yet Turner, who averages more than 2 AST/TOV is the one that is turnover prone and ONLY gets 4.5 APG last year and 5.5 APG the year before.

Right. Does the author not realize that nearly half the starting PGs in the league have averaged fewer APG than Evan Turner has the past two seasons? Apparently not, because he thinks Gerald "The Chucker" Green is a better player and a better fit for the Celtics. Yeah, good luck with that.

For a player who relies on athleticism, Green is now on the wrong side of 30. His performance peaked at 27, typical for players who rely on athleticism, and has been in decline since and will continue to decline. The author mentions he had a bad year last season in MIA and brushes it off as an anomaly, like it won't happen again. Wrong, it's not a one time thing, it's part of a trend. Get used to it.

Turner is now 27 and relies on skills, not athleticism. He will continue to improve, while the older Green, who has never been more than a high USG% chucker, will continue to decline.

I would rather we sign 10 Chris Kamans than 1 Evan Turner. Neil didn't just blunder. He fucked up terribly.
