Yes I know you have to subscribe. I am just asking in case there is someone here that is already subscribed.
No article, but JQ gave some anecdotes on 1080. Says he's the guy the team respects most after Dame. He apparently invited all the rookies to his house to get fitted for and bought them all suits before the season. Mentioned ET initiating the Halloween costume on game night thing, and him taking the whole team out for dinner on multiple occasions on the road. His role being minimized after the Hood addition had very little effect on his positive attitude and his impact on chemistry.
Somebody quick create a post about how bad Kanter is a defense and maybe tonight he sets an NBA record for blocks!
50 wins, Chris. Stotts has 50 wins with more to come. Turner is all about matchups. When he can post up against a shorter defender, he is deadly. Lately, other teams have had to alter their defensive schemes because of this. So, you see, he's valuable even when he's not playing.
I mean why would it though? He's getting paid to the tune of 17 million this year having to play <20 mpg.
Well guys who get their PT taken away usually pout and don't give a damn about the team. ET (and Meyers to a large extent) have been really good on the bench without creating drama. This point is generally understated in the current NBA.
See this is why I like Quick. He does sensationalize stuff at times but since he's been gone none of the other reporters have ever been able to get the same personal stories that Quick is able to extract from the team. The other reporters just put out puff pieces with nothing interesting that we haven't heard before.
They know they already hit the jackpot as far as how much their contracts were. There are guys that are much better than them that will make much less in their entire career.
Yes, but it's not always about money. It has to suck for Meyers to be glued to the bench while having the best season of his career.
