If there's one player I want to see more from this season, it's Turner. (Or maybe Harkless, but he's cheaper.) With Crabbe gone, he's our primary bench backcourt player/wing. We need him to be more like what he was in Boston: a do-anything glue kind of player that makes the team hum when he's on the court. Last season he seemed a bit tentative and the ball seemed to stick with him more than I would have liked. Although I guess he did get "the best Blazers assist" last season: Thoughts?
Evan Turner. Ugh. Part of me thinks (more like hopes) that he'll be better for us this season. But then, that wouldn't be too hard given how hugely disappointing he was. I hate his game - it's ugly and underwhelming. He's like Aminu-lite. To my eyes he belongs in the Eastern Conference - he's JV not varsity. I call him YMCA.
YMCEvan? That's not bad. Certainly better than the Meh-van Turn(ov)er moniker with which he was saddled last year.
