I feel like he made the same plays last year, but the bowling ball effect gave him the extra margin of error to pull it off. Right now, he's just The Bosnian.
Last season we all said, Nurkic is good because Stotts hasn't gotten to him yet. This season he thinks he has shooting range. His repertoire has lost those nifty little 6-foot passes in the paint that he learned from European coaches. Since this Turner thread includes Nurkic, I'll add McCollum. Every time McCollum raises his arms to intercept a rebound or pass, the ball bounces off his fingers to the other team. The turnover stat definition doesn't include such mistakes, but should, somehow. Watch for it, about 6-8 times per game. He should just stay away from any ball sailing by his vicinity.
