even if Yi is not that special, he surely is everything Mikky Moore was (less intense, but he has all the skills and phisical attributes), so if he can work that pick&roll and pick&pop with VC and Devin, A Mikky Moore season is a given for Yi in NJ imo.
Thanks for the offer, but I'll keep posting what I like, and pointing out when certain posters are talking out of their recto-cavities. And I believe you meant 'you're'.
There is no better chance for Ryan to florish than on this team. We want to win but we also know the facts so he will get plenty of play if he earns it.
You remember incorrectly. LJIII was a favorite of RealGM, who said he was a leading candidate for MIP, and Charley Rosen of Fox Sports. It wasnt his teammates who said nice things about him, although Ed Stefanski (who signed him when the Tractor Traylor physical went south) did say he was looking good. In 2004, however, people were saying nice things about Ron Mercer til he got hurt.
ron mercer was always a nice playerr, he had a few big games for us when he was healthy. i mean he had a decent career. his best was when he averaged 19.7 with the bulls but he was always a goood 18 foot jump shooter
Bulls were quite anxious to get rid of Mercer, and he was their leading scorer when they traded him. In fact, it was reported that the Miller/Artest for Jalen Rose trade wouldn't have gone down unless Pacers were willing to take Mercer. Plus, Ron is a rapist.
he was a good player... after that trade to the pacers his career went downward. injuries and lack of playing time.
Nope, I specifically remember both RJ and Kidd saying something along the lines of Linton Johnson being the biggest surprise of training camp when doing their interviews during the NBATV real training camp thing that year. No idea if it can be found online anywhere, but if it can, it's there.
And here we go... from http://www.netsdaily.com/blog/?m=20051010 12:18 Interview with RJ… “This is actually pretty light as far as our practices go.” RJ shows off his surgery scar. Says he’s been working on post-ups - shooting off both shoulders. Capstraw remarks how RJ was shooting when they arrived an hour and fifteen minutes before practice. “Linton Johnson I think is somebody who is going to surprise a lot of people in the NBA this year.” Using NI to prove NI wrong... for the win!
I'll ask again. Is Kevin Love really THAT much better than Ryan Anderson to be picked 16 spots ahead of him? And if not, then you'll see the real value of Ryan.
Maybe, but also unlikely because Love will be getting way more minutes for the young and center-desperate Wolves.
Love is a very good passer, both in the post and on the outlet...not that Anderson isn't a good passer. Love is just better. He is also a bull.
