Logically, Jesus and Osama Bin Laden might be lookalikes.

The potato chip thing was to make a point. They make a gazillion of them, and randomly and rarely, one looks like Christ.

I looked it up. They make 1.2 billion pounds of potato chips per year. At 300 chips per pound (a guess), that's 360 billion chips per year. If the find a Jesus every ten years, that's a 1:3.6trillion chance.

4/5) nature does not build complexity by random chance or happenstance. your argument rests entirely on a false premise.

it's a good point (anthropic argument), but you don't even really need to go there since the mona lisa or a pile of toothpicks in someone's name are not analogous to the complexity we see in nature. that premise is simply false.

Wow all of the arrogant bashing.... It amazes me that I've said something that would give you the right to take it to the next level. Kudos to all of you.

Yes life and nature puts the complexity like that to shame doesn't it?

Actually I said this as a two part question. Which makes more logical sense. That someone actually put the toothpicks there or they fell randomly from the roof. And to say chance was more logical created that response.

And obviously you didn't read the stem of why this was posted in the first place. If you would; then you would see that question was asked in the first place.

You ask about the complexity of the human brain. Google "reptilian complex" and get back to us.

Cool then use the "reptilian complex" just answer the question Denny. What seems more logical?

Okay evidence 1-2 - I am told I don't know so I am wrong to question it. (check) LOL

Okay evidence #3 - I am told they don't know so I am wrong. (check) LOL

Okay evidence #4 - I am told that chance is possible therefor it's more logical. (check) LOL

Okay evidence #5 - I am told that complexity can happen by chance as long as you have gazillion years to do it (check) LOL

I really can't wait for the answer for the next one. This is great!

You ask, "if you can't believe... toothpicks... Brain.". See it?

Not all questions are binary. You only posit two of many possible answers, and I gave you the actual answer.

The puzzle in post 271 is for real, and you haven't answered it. It's not a mockery of anyone or anything. It requires you to think, is all.

Yep tooth picks are simply no even close to the complexity of the brain. Glad you've noticed.

For the puzzle, I would stick with my choice because the probability of it being on the other is 50/50.
