That seems like a legitimate beef, but I don't do the twitter. I remember a great line from the debates when he said they'd waste his tax payments. He just didn't mention he'd waste them too. I'm quite sure what you say happens does happen, this just doesn't seem so bad. He probably could cure cancer and get a tweetstorm directed at him.
Two questions: 1) What does it mean to be 'verified' in regards to twitter? 2) What's wrong with people responding to tweets? Isn't that very similar to what we do here at S2 when we hit 'reply'? barfo

It wasn't a personal insult for the simple reason that I don't know who he was responding to. It was just a variant on "illegitimi non carborundum". If anybody took it personally it's clearly because they think they're a fuckface.
Sly, I appreciate your light-hearted responses, but I hope you realize that the reply he just posted was bullshit. He was clearly posting that tweet on here as an insult towards members of this forum. I'm confident that even the Left-leaning folks on this forum can see that.
1. I'm not left. 2. I deleted his tweet and replaced it with something different, and IMO better, because I felt his post violated the personal insult rule.
He's saying that if anyone was offended by the tweet he posted, then they're a fuckface. The tweet said something about being a fuckface; I don't recall word-for-word what it said. But it was quite clearly an insult. So basically, he's saying that he hasn't learned his lesson. And Sly, I didn't mean that you were a Liberal, I was speaking to others here, not you specifically.
