Oh, shit. You already answered your own question, FAMS!

    (But I agree 100%.)

If we knew Ezeli was going to be out for a while, I wish we'd've kept Stiemsma. He's more use than Meyers right now (and possibly always).

seriously? what's the big deal? yes I would let the fans know whats goin on. We know the team took a flier on him and I agree with what they did, we got him cheap and have a team option for next yr, and if his knee issues don't allow him to play much then it's only a one yr deal. I would like to know what the knee issue actually is and what the hoped for outcome is for in doing this treatment, what the heck is wrong with telling fans that? I am rooting for the guy to get better and hopefully play a good bit.

If you tell fans you tell 29 other teams at the same time. I'm fine with not being told even though I want to know.

so what? is this some top secret thing? how is it going to really make any difference if fans are informed - Blazer and otherwise?

It won't matter if he's not playing.

I think it really would only matter for the one game he returns in which case the other team wouldn't necessarily be able to scout for him. But the impact is minimal in a league where the scouts are professionals as well. Sure we might be able to catch our first opponents off guard with what Festus brings to the team, In other words they might not be prepared for him (think Roy returning early against PHX in the playoffs)...They already knew what Roy brought to the team, but could have not considered his return therefor he would have changed their whole game plan for how to defend us and what not. However teams will just watch tape of the first game Festus has an impact on our offense/defense and game plan accordingly.

I don't think the organization is hiding anything for the sake of keeping other teams on their toes. I think it's more likely we haven't heard anything because there hasn't been much change in his game readiness. They are probably bringing him along slowly and hoping to have him back right before /or during the playoffs.

I'm glad they're bringing Festus and Meyers back slowly from rehab....I want Festus to have an impact come playoff time...before the allstar break it's no big deal....Meyers hasn't played much in 7 months...both those guys need to get in game shape. Problem is Mason collecting early fouls in most of the games so far..Vonleh has stepped up and Layman is looking like a rotation guy
