    So I am not right to criticize McMillan's failed scheme, simply because YOU think Bayless wouldn't have been up to task?

    I actually would've preferred Webster to Bayless, but I'd also prefer Bayless to Blake. And as much as you demean my theory, the relevant data suggests that having Blake in didn't work. So any other suggestion(Bayless) is seemingly just as credible if failure is the baseline. So the worst I could be is on par with McMillan with my Bayless suggestion.
