All I'm saying is, you are comparing him to Luis Scola. I think he is ever bit as good as LA. Just playing on a team where its not expected if of him.
his ORBs were down because of his role in the offense. His DRB% this season would be the 3rd highest of Aldridge's career, and his TRB% this season is right around LA's career average. Yes he only scored 16 ppg. On 12 shots. LA had 23 on 20. It's about role on the team. Way, WAY closer to Aldridge than Scola. That's just ridiculous.
Its assumed if the Cavs get LeBron they're trading away Wiggins for KLove or a similar all-star. Love's even said he would resign in Cleveland if LeBron was there.
Rockets would still have Parsons and Beverly. Parsons cap hold is small until they match his contract. Rockets would trade everyone else on the roster except Dwight and Harden. That's a damn good starting 5 though.
Won't happen because LA will never look to take threes. No matter how many times it wins a playoff series...
Yes LeBron is the best basketball player on the planet. But they often played Battier at PF with Bosh at Center guarding the more physical big man. We've seen how improved Aldridge has been with a physical center able to take some of the load but the years of Bosh being the only big man has really hurt his performance. If you put him next to Dwight Howard none of that matters. That's a damn good starting lineup and the pieces fit so much better than trying to put Melo alongside Parsons and Harden.
So LeBron has a big meeting with Pat Riley in 2 or 3 days. Brian Windhorst was on Sportscenter saying how Riley is going into the meeting thinking he'll have to sell LeBron on why he should return to Miami. Brian thinks LeBron is going into the meeting to tell Riley he is leaving Miami.
The decision has already been made. This just gives the media more shit to talk about. Or as I like to call it, more time for me not to listen to them.
umm, why is cleveland shopping marcus thornton? dude is making 16+MM the next two years, good luck with that. just seems they would be better off shopping/dumping jarrett jack
