Sorry to hear this. I suspect you would agree, government should not be interfering with peoples compensations for work performed.
But this case where you were screwed does seem like government business, not quite the same as interfering with workers and business
in the public sector.

the thread is Trump fact checking....somehow it's Obama ACA now...hmmmm I will say that if folks don't want the govt involved in taxes and lawmaking...they sure shouldn't be willing to accept govt benefits...SSI or Medicare, etc....unemployment insurance...disability benefits....at some point it's best to plan for contingencies that could sink your boat...in Marz case....I think the blame is absolutely square on your employer for not honoring their retirement package for you....as lawai'i said....it's not an isolated incident...happens all throughout our history...my mother's company screwed her out of retirement after 18 years of loyal work...had nothing to do with ACA....had to do with her capping out salary wise and replacing her with an 18 year old at beginning salary. It's not govt that fucks people or changes the way business is conducted....IT'S GREED....let's fact check Trump …..he's the great exaggerator in chief....he just gave billions to soybean farmers after killing their marketplace...now that's govt interference in the workplace...his trade war actually forced Harley Davidson to leave the US and build overseas....on and on...all so he can bluster about how good trade wars are

 

I did hear Trump say something that makes me think he's a holocaust denier.

 

We almost had a president when George McGovern ran...scandal on his running mate took him out of contention...last candidate I genuinely lobbied for.

I believe it was politifact that says he's told over 3,500 lies, some of them whoppers, while some others are more than mere whoppers.

 

I think he had more than his running mate working against him.

...just watched Rudy Giuliani on Face the Nation...he only contradicted himself 4-5 times...like his "client", both lack credibility and both are cartoons.

 

Yeah, is Cohen a good guy or a historic liar?

I've heard it speculated that lawyers resort to Giuliani's tactics whenever they have a weak case.

 

...haven't really decided about Cohen yet but he's obviously not an angel...but the longer Trump is in office and the more days that pass with a seemingly unending train of lies from Trump and spinning about actual facts by The White House, the more I believe Trump's days are numbered.

...I could not stomach him from the very beginning, but now I'm just hoping that he'll be removed before he gets us all killed.

 

My question is a rhetorical one. I've heard Guiliani refer to Cohen as both an angel and the devil. Obviously something is wrong with Rudy.

 

Yup, just 3 weeks ago Rudy was fawning over Cohen and saying what "an honorable man" he is.
