Fact. Noone will wanna miss these games... 2 arch nemesis's now goin straight at it.

East coast vs West coast... I definatly won't miss it.

F-F - Shaq wil play alot longer thanx to his greatly improved work ethic as shown how skinny he is at the MVAs.

Fact: It's great to see Shaq like this. He is more determined than ever now to prove the world wrong. Shaq seems to be coming up for an MVP type year. Never underestimate the heart of a champion.

Fact or Fiction: Shaq wins MVP.

Fiction, I think he will play better than last year, because i think he's in better shape, putting up 25 ppg and 11 rpg, but i dont see him being MVP. It'll likely be won by KG or TD. It's very possible he's MVP, though.

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Fiction - From what it looks like now, its just a 2 man game. Only wade and Shaq. IMO.

    Eddie Jones? [IMG]

Fact or Fiction: Miami makes it to the ECF (sorry if that's been asked)

Fact: Most likely this will be the standings from what I see right now.
    1. Pistons
    2.Heat
    3. Sixers
    4. Pacers
    5. Knicks
    6. Bucks
    7. Nets(if Kidd stays)
    8. Celtics

If something similar to this happens Miami won't have to play Detroit until the Conference Finals and I think they are capable of beating every other team. If they do some good trade involving Eddie Jones they might even be able to beat the Pistons. You never know. The Wallaces could go down withan injury

Fact or Fiction: Wade scores at/over 20 PPG.

Fact. I say he hits 20 ppg, but averaging 6.5-7 dimes a game. Since Shaq's on his team... if Shaq wasn't, 24 ppg 3 dimes.

F or F - Wade & Shaq best 1-2 punch in the east.

Fiction: Although I'm a big Heat fan, the Wallace's of Detroit are a much better "one-two punch," but Dwyane and Shaq are right up there, along with J-craw and Marbs.

F or F: Eddie Jones will be traded for a player who has a break out year, scoring about 15 ppg.

Fiction. At the time and way the heat are going, they might take a point guard who won't necessarily score but set the tempo and get the system going.

F/F: Shaq will average 29+ points

Fact... in the conference he's in. I see him getting many many touchs every game and Wade totally racking up the dimes... prolly about 8 apg. Shaq definetly wiill reach 29ppg easy.

    F/F - Wade averages over 8 APG.

Fact: He can pass the rock to Shaq now. Since the Eastern conference is more of a shorter conference, Shaq will be open more often, and since Dwyane is so good at getting himself space, Wade can easily get the ball into Shaq if he has to.

F/F: Michael Jordan makes his 4th comeback and joins the Heat.

F/F: Udonis Haslem, if he gets to start and averages 35+mpg, averages 15ppg and 10rpg (note: last season he went 7.3ppg and 6.3rpg in 24mpg as a rookie)

Fact. Haslem is very good at playing the post and will dominate down there. Give him 35+ mpg and he will get AT LEAST 15 ppg and 10 rpg.

F/F: Shaq will dominate Big Ben when they play.

Fact: Most people will answer fiction when they compare Wallace to Shaq cuz of the Finals. But anyone watching the game will tell you that Shaq wasn't even putting in effort... and he went 26ppg, 63% from the field. and grabbed about 11 boards. Now that Shaq is on a mission and critics are saying Wallace is better? Fuggedaboutit...

It's amazing how people even forget how great of a player Shaq is...

Fact or Fiction: Damon Jones gets the starting job as PG before the season ends.

Fact. I think near the end of the year he will get it. He will wind up proving himself to the Heat and will get to be the Heat's starting point guard.

F/F: Dwyane Wade will switch to SG.

Fact: Wade has carried the load of being the PG for a while now and will continue to do so as needed, but his true role is SG, and this is where he excels. Whether he starts at SG depends on if D. Jones proves himself as a starting PG. Perhaps Keyon Dooling steps up this year and proves himself worthy of logging minutes as well. Even if neither of these two start, Wade can be moved up to SG and D. Jones/Dooling can come off the bench to play PG.

Fact or Fiction: Shaq plays to see Kobe's contract expire (7 years assuming it's not extended)

Fiction. The guy is just too old to play 7 more years. It would be unsafe for a guy his size. I'll give him 2-3 more years.

F/F: D. Jones will start at PG sometime this year.

Fact: D. Jones knows how to control the offense better than Wade and he brings his sniper skillz to the court which compliments both Wade and Shaq well. He put up some good numbers last season with 7ppg 5apg 2rpg. What really impressed the Heat is how he stepped up in the playoffs against the Pistons with 10ppg 7.4apg 4rpg in 28mpg and 5 games and was 52% with FG and 47% with 3PTs. It seems that D. Jones is improving and the Heat are sold on his abilities and feel as they can take him to the next level. One thing he needs to work on is his defense.

Fact or Fiction: Jerome Beasley gets cut at the end of the year.

Fact. Beasley won't ever have a chance on the Heat with Haslem and Allen around, and if Matt Freije plays PF (although I see him as an SF), he's better than Beasley.

Fact or Fiction: Shaq and Wade will both play 70+ games this year for the Heat (last year, Shaq played 67...Wade played 61).
