Fiction - With TJ Ford around, I don't see him getting more minutes to put up numbers much better than he did previously.

F/F: The Raptors will win the Atlantic?

I say Fact. The Nets and Celts will be there, but I think you guys can pull it out.

    F/F- Bosh retires a Raptor?

Fact: I think no matter what, Colangelo will keep this guy around because he can become on of the greatest players of all time. He is a fan favourite. However, like we saw with Iverson, and even that chance with Kobe, you never know.

F/F: Kapono & Parker will be both in the top 5 again for 3pt shooters.

    Fact and Fiction.
Kapono is almost gauranteed top 5. But the addition of Kapono may result in a decrease in Parkers 3 point shooting. So basically I say Kapono will, Parker won't.

    F/F
    Bosh averages 11RPG next year.

Fact, I see no reason why he can't. He was averging a solid double-double last season and this year h'es 1 year older.

F/F Jason Kapono makes up for the loss of Morris Peterson.

Fiction. He dosen't bring the defense that Mo did, plus he just sits there for the open 3. We don't have DWade or Shaq to draw all those double and triple teams, so he won't see nearly as many wide open looks.

    F/F....Garbo will Avg. 10 pts...7 rebs.

Fact: Unless the Raptors are 20 games over .500 and nothing is going to bad, he will make a trade. However this year U see him being a sit and wait GM, instead of a big market trade guy.

F/F: Bargnani will show people that he should of been rookie of the year.

Fact. Since he only started getting minutes around mid season last year and by beginning the year he will get to work earlier and establish a rhythm to his play. By seeing that he has bulked up he might be able to bang down in the post with the big guys to get rebounds. He also has that post- fade away jumper that we saw a little bit last year. He shouldn't have a problem picking up where he left off.

F/F Maceo Baston Averages 3 blocks a game

He won't get enough minutes to average that many blocks and even if he did, he's not good enough.

F/F: The Celtics will have pulled away from the Raptors if they acquire KG.

FICTION!!! I will type here what I wrote in the Celtics forum: A team of All-Stars cannot co-exist. Think of it this way. Kevin Garnett, A star on his team, got the ball 90-100% of the time. Ray Allen, A star on his team, got the ball 70-80% of the time. Paul Peirce, before injury got the ball 70-85% of the time. These three players could become mad all-stars because they will want the ball. And they ain't playing with Jason Kidd or Steve Nash here, it is some young PG's who could crack under pressure from the All-Star vets.

F/F: Bosh is a Top 5 candidate for MVP

Tough to say, but I'll say fact. If he can improve his numbers yet again and lead the Raptors to win the Atlantic over the new overhauled teams then he might even win. Eh, I sound like a Bosh homer now. LOL

    F/F
Raptors have a better record than last year despite all the added additions in the Atlantic. (Celtics, Nets, Knicks all getting stronger)

    Fact.
We're a better team than last year and that's not even factoring in the improvement we'll be see from our young core. I think we're still better than the Nets/Knicks, we're deeper than all the teams in the Atlantic, and we have the advantage of not having to adjust to a new roster for the first half of the season.

F/F: Colangelo will trade Jose Calderon before he has to re-sign him.

Fact Oh man, this makes me sad, but unless Calderon just owns and averages a double double, Colangelo will dangle him for some SF's or future picks. I hope he doesn't though.

F/F Chris Bosh and Kevin Garnett will be the story of the Atlantic when it comes to player match-ups.
