Just confirmed that the two teams are discussing a possible swap.

If there's no picks included, I'm not sure what good it does Portland. But than again, I'm not sure that management here knows how to do something good for this team.

So this confirms that Nate McMillan is actually running the entire organization. Cool.

Would John Nash even make this dumb of a decision?

Chad and Larry are treading new ground.

You go from Nash to Rondo .....to Blake.

Used to have complete faith in this organization. It was a nice feeling.

Now it's back to the John Nash years where we don't get Chris Paul or Deron Williams because we have Telfair.

Talent evaluation is severely lacking again.

Larry is a shoe guy, managing a basketball roster isn't his forte, an d it's painfully obvious.

I think Nate McMillan honestly thinks that Steve Blake will help him turn around this team.

Yeah, that's something else isn't it? That our organization is being run by a shoe guy, a guy who totally lucked into his money and has lost money on every business venture he's ever engaged in, and a scout with a horrible track record.

Why Steve Blake? Let Felton expire. I'd much rather see Nolan get some playing time.....or bring back Patty Mills. Blake was on ok fill in as a backup, but my god, the Blazers are already boring enough....do we need to go through Blake again?

I hope every team is discussing possible swaps with other teams.

Getting Steve Blake makes zero sense, and if I didn't know this place better, I'd assume that nobody would freak out over a rumor that likely won't happen.

With this front office right now anything is possible.

That's why people are on edge.

I knew Allen was an inept owner when he fired Tom Penn, and then KP, and kept around his Yes Men. Then Cho, who frankly I misread initially, wouldn't massage Allen's ego, and Paul shit-canned him as well.

This organization should be a laughingstock. It's the Raiders under Al Davis, except without a track record of success.

The other part of me doesn't understand why people get so upset, though. The problem with the Blazers isn't the coach (or coaches in the past), the GM (or past GMs), or even the players.

We know that Paul Allen is prone to making irrational decisions, and with that sort of uncertainty at the top, it's impossible to get a consistent and positive culture within any organization.
