After the feed started getting pixelated, I naturally turned it off. Without a scoreboard or some interesting play by play, the video feed wasn't that great. Leonard's shot looked a little rushed.

I also really hated the Blazers offense, especially to start the game, it seemed extremely mechanical and predictable.

Didn't watch the game but I think our woes from 3-point range are significant. Only Dame and Leonard are good 3-point shooters for their position and even if Aminu plays - he is supposedly a good shooter but didn't really seem like it when I saw him in the Africa game - this is maybe our biggest weakness.
I think otherwise the FanFest being maybe unimpressive isn't that big a deal. It'd take some more time to get the team in game shape, the players playing together and Stotts figuring out the rotations. I expect them to improve throughout the season.

I general the team defense looked alright. Lots of length and active hands.

Davis and Plumlee (in very limited minutes) looked good to me. Both looked game ready to rebound and block shots. Noah picked up where he left off in Summer league, which was solid.

I wish Henderson was healthy enough to play, since he's going to be an important piece to the success of this squad.

Besides one of the short backup PGs, Quick thinks Luis Montero is the cut over Omari Johnson? What!?

We are gonna be bad! I'm not 100% sold on the over on 26.5.

    It's gonna be fun though!

That is a little strange. Although considering it's Jason Quick, I'm sure he actually has no idea what he meant.

I don't mind Meyers trying to be resonably aggressive but he was chucking up some reallydumb off balance shots

You guys are basing how the season goes off an intra squad scrimmage at the start of the year with 2 starters missing? Jeez

CJ did not look for his teammates at all, this disturbed me the most..Connaughton was wide open and CJ just would not pass him the ball..total iso chucking. Davis was a great defender in the paint and could get just about every board available. Meyers looked stiff and forced. Dame didn't play well at all. I know it's a scrimmage but Stotts looked down on the bench..not a smile. He has a lot of work to do

Yeah one of his best traits last year was his INSANELY GOOD shot selection. I hope he retains that.

There is going to be some really atrocious basketball played by the Blazers this year. The one thing it looks like we are going to do above all else is hustle, these are some hungry young players who should be constantly active.
I think we have a real brutal first 30 games then start to show real improvement after that

This team is bad. Very bad. There is no way we win more than 30 games.
