Kinda hilarious that Batum read Matthews answers. Looks like he just challenged Wes to a little 1 on 1. And looks like Dame wants to be there if it happens.
I love me some Wes but I'm pickin' Nico to take this one. He can block Wesley all day long at the rim.

During a recent question-and-answer session with fans on NBA.com, Wesley Matthews was asked who would win a one-on-one matchup between he and teammate Nicolas Batum. The uber-competitive Matthews didn't pull any punches when he answered the question. "Me," Matthews said. "Because I'm better than him. He doesn't want to see me one-on-one. This ain't no European thing. You know how me and Earl (Watson) get down. We don't play. No foul calls, all that. You're going to have to earn every bucket." When he caught wind of the Q & A and Matthews' challenge, Batum took to twitter to defend himself. He quoted Matthews' answer and set up Wild Wild West-style duel, just short of High Noon. “Wes tommorow 11am ...” Batum said Tuesday in his tweet. The Blazers probably will practice on Wednesday, setting a possible stage for a fun — and perhaps — intense head-to-head matchup between two of their best players. At least one teammate is excited about the possibility. “I’ll be there,” Damian Lillard said in a reply to Batum’s tweet. If this goes down, and we have access, I’m going to make sure we get video for the blog. In the meantime, who do you think wins this one-on-one? Do The Blazers players read the forum? Look at this tweet from Batum... That was a question that was answered for this forum only, I thought. Unless I'm mistaken, that was only posted here. It would be pretty cool, though, I guess.
Re: Do The Blazers players read the forum? Unless Wes actually talked to his teammates while answering those questions.
Re: Do The Blazers players read the forum? Lair, chains, bucket, and lotion Cartman style, eh? Cartman: Put the lotion in the f'ing basket!
Re: Do The Blazers players read the forum? haha okay. Thanks for the response Sly... you can merge this thread if you want... I totally didn't check to see if it had been put up... seeing as it was 3 hrs old, I should have just assumed it was.
Re: Do The Blazers players read the forum? I don't understand. Right in the first sentence is a link to this board. You can't ask for more, except that they could name me personally.
Re: Do The Blazers players read the forum? That's some BULL. SHIT. Who's a lawyer? What do the IP laws say about this? Let's get rich!
Re: Do The Blazers players read the forum? I think folks tend to forget that NBA players have friends, cousins, children, siblings, etc...who can all log on the the Blazers website and click on the link to this forum. If you open S2 it often says, 16 users and 80 guests are on the site or whatever number. Now with twitter and text msging, news travels fast
